Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy (OT) provides services to people who are having difficulty with their everyday activities, such as personal care and domestic tasks, with the aim of assisting people to remain living in their own home.
About Occupational Therapy
An OT can conduct an assessment of your home and community environment and look at safety issues and possible falls hazards.
They can recommend strategies to make tasks easier and safer for you, including:
- Arranging home modifications such as grab rails
- The use of aids and equipment
- Suggesting a different way of performing tasks
If you would like to be more independent and improve your quality of life, consider seeing an occupational therapist.
