About PlaySteps
Playsteps is an 8 week group for you and your child (0-3 years) to learn more ways to increase your bond with your child. In this group you will:
- Meet other families and share parenting experiences
- Get information and understanding about your child’s behaviour, communication and development
- Receive support around parenting and play

How do I access PlaySteps?
This group is suited for families with children 0-3 years where the parent-child relationship may be affected by issues (such as prematurity, illness, limited family support, mental health, disability, young parent, negative life circumstances). Parents wanting to be involved should be well supported for their own health and wellbeing needs before considering involvement in this group. If unsure, please contact us.
The group will be offered 4 times a year at community based venues or family children centres in:
- Port Melbourne
- St Kilda
- Prahran
How much will it cost?
No fees needed to join.
