Youth Voice is a group of young people that join forces to have their voices heard in their community. Their aim is to raise awareness about the social and wellbeing issues that are relevant to young people.
Young people participating in the Youth Voice have made a series of short films about youth mental health that you can watch here.
In 2022, Youth Voice came together and chose to focus on the topic of mental health. Partnering with Storyscape, the group participated in a 2-day workshop where they planned and filmed a series of short films exploring the topic of young people & mental health. The films were launched on World Mental Health Day (October 10th) and shared on the Youth Voice Instagram over the course of the week. The films share insightful and inspiring messages from young people.
The six episodes are: What is Mental Health, The Why, Support, Talking About It, Feeling Good, and Changes Needed. Check them out here.
